Using data from the SunSpec oSPARC database, this case study demonstrates the use of satellite irradiance and weather data to manage portfolios of distributed PV. With monthly performance data, portfolio managers can participate in energy markets, integrate with building level energy management services or offer other hardware technology bundles (i.e., HVAC, water heaters, electric vehicles, etc.).
