Evaluation of Minimized Expected Cost Forecasts of PV Energy Generation for Multiple Deviation Cost Functions

A probabilistic forecast of PV Energy production gives a range of possible values, and a probability for each. In this presentation we evaluate the impact on reducing deviation costs by finding the forecast that minimizes the expected costs for four different types of cost structures, half of which are symmetric, and half where it costs more to overestimate than to underestimate energy production.
